Since 2015, the city of Regensburg, the University of Regensburg and the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg have been working on a concept to introduce children and young people to technical professions. Today, many other partners, including GEFASOFT, are behind the MINT Labs. MINT stands for mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology.
The MINT Labs are also located on the TechCampus Regensburg and thus in the immediate vicinity of GEFASOFT - just above our company headquarters - in Rudolf-Vogt-Straße.
Students can experiment and try things out at the MINT Labs Regensburg. The focus is on having fun and enjoying all STEM-related topics. Whether it's technology, electronics, crafts, mathematics, pharmacy, physics, programming, chemistry, biology or even art - the MINT labs have laboratories and equipment available to young people to awaken their enthusiasm for STEM. This is also intended to create an early link to the economy in the region.
During the upcoming Whitsun vacations, we are now offering an excursion to the GEFASOFT training workshop for pupils for the first time. Our training manager has come up with an exciting program on the topic of industrial robot programming for students aged 12 and over:

In addition, we will also be represented at the training week in May with a workshop for students in the 7th and 8th grades of middle and secondary schools.
