With the Bavarian Cluster Initiative and its 17 clusters, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs has been promoting networking and cooperation between companies and research institutions since 2006, thereby strengthening innovation and competitiveness in Bavaria. As a founding member of the sensor technology cluster, GEFASOFT has been involved right from the start.

To kick off the 5th funding period of the Bavarian Cluster Initiative, Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger hosted a cluster reception at the Munich Residence on February 5th 2024. The Sensor Technology Cluster from Regensburg and its members accepted the invitation. Our CTO Christian Schärtl also participated to represent GEFASOFT at the event.
