On Friday, 19.04.24, the time had finally come: we opened our doors to numerous young and old technology enthusiasts and were able to offer a variety of exciting activities. The event also provided a special opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and get to know the people behind GEFASOFT - from the management to the trainees.

The motto "Experience innovation" was not an empty promise, but was really lived last Friday evening. Our visitors were able to listen to fascinating presentations on the topics of head-up displays and laser material processing in industry or take a tour of the production hall. Our dedicated GEFASOFT employees were on hand to answer questions and share their passion for technology and innovation to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

A special highlight was the hands-on course with an iPad raffle, where participants could have a practical multi-tool laser engraved with their own name and interact with an industrial robot. At the last station of the course, our guests were able to get a taste of the field of industrial image processing before being given popcorn and drinks to prove themselves in the "final test" (opening a drink with a crown cap using the multi-tool).

Another attraction was a soldering course in which children and young people were able to assemble small, luminous LED ladybugs and light-sensitive robots themselves. The Dynamics e.V. of OTH Regensburg presented its self-built racing car, in which our visitors were allowed to try out the real Formula 1 feeling. As a long-standing Dynamics e.V. cooperation partner, GEFASOFT milled parts, for example, are installed in the vehicle to accommodate the electric drive.

Last but not least, our HR department was available to all visitors who wanted to find out more about GEFASOFT as an employer.

With a colorful and varied program, we were able to captivate over 200 guests at our successful "NACHT.SCHAFFT.WISSEN" premiere. Let's hope that this event is just the beginning of a long series of further exciting and inspiring evenings with the motto "NACHT.SCHAFFT.WISSEN".
