As a medium-sized technology company, we also assemble our machines, which we develop in Regensburg and Nittendorf, here in the Upper Palatinate.

General

Due to the wide range of tasks at GEFASOFT, we offer a broad spectrum of student activities. We are mainly looking for students in the technical field. This includes in particular mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, (technical) computer science, medical technology, and many more.

A speculative application at GEFASOFT is always possible. It is important that you bring interest and enthusiasm for your desired area.

In most cases, there is a possibility of being taken on and this is very common at GEFASOFT. Whether it is from an internship to a subsequent working student position, from a working student position to a final thesis or a permanent position after graduation - the possibilities at GEFASOFT are diverse.

Internships

We offer the possibility for compulsory internships as well as voluntary internships in various fields.

We also offer the opportunity for pre-study internships in various fields before starting a degree program.

We offer internships in our technical divisions, e.g. in industrial image processing, laser material processing, control technology, software development, mechanical design, hardware and electrical planning. But also in the area of business administration, e.g. in human resources, marketing and finance/accounting. An internship abroad is also possible.

Internships for students at GEFASOFT usually last 18-20 weeks. We are guided by the individual requirements for each degree program.

Yes - one of the benefits of an internship at GEFASOFT is attractive compensation depending on the type of internship. Even student internships are remunerated with us.

There are no fixed deadlines, but the earlier the better, as we can only handle a limited number of interns. Ideally, you should apply at least 6 weeks before the desired start date.

Yes, an internship at GEFASOFT is completed on a full-time basis. But part-time models are also conceivable.

Working student jobs

Current enrollment at a university or university of applied sciences is required for a working student position. In addition, it would be desirable if there is a remaining period of study of at least 2 semesters.

We offer various working student positions in our technical divisions, e.g. in industrial image processing, laser material processing, control technology, software development, mechanical design, hardware and electrical planning. But also in the area of business administration, e.g. in human resources, marketing and finance/accounting.

Yes, we offer our working students an attractive salary based on their progress in their studies and whether they have previous work experience or have already completed their studies.

A working student activity at GEFASOFT comprises at least 10 hours/week. In accordance with legal requirements, the maximum number of hours during the lecture period is limited to 20 hours/week. During semester breaks there is the possibility to work up to 40 hours/week.

There are no fixed deadlines, but the earlier the better. An application at least 6 weeks before the desired start date is ideal.

Yes, a speculative application makes sense if none of the advertised positions really suits you. We will then check the possibilities for employment at our company.

Theses (Bachelor & Master)

GEFASOFT offers a variety of opportunities for final theses. Specific topics are regularly advertised on our careers page, e.g. in the areas of industrial image processing, laser material processing, control engineering, software development, mechanical design, hardware planning and electrical. In addition, suitable topics can also be used for final theses in the areas of human resources or marketing. You are also welcome to come to us with your individual idea/concept and we will check whether we can make something out of it together.

No, final projects can be started independently from other previous activities at GEFASOFT.

Yes, we offer our bachelor's and master's students attractive compensation. We also take into account whether prior education in the form of professional experience or a degree already completed.
