Durable connection without soldering process

FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE OF THE
GCELL PRESSFIT

In the PressFit process, the pins of a connector strip are pressed into metallized PCB holes in a controlled manner. The targeted deformation of the press-fit zone creates a form-fitting, mechanically stable, and electrically conductive connection between the connector and the circuit board.

In contrast to classic soldering, contacting takes place without heat input. This protects sensitive electronic components and achieves high long-term stability of the connection.

Modular machine solution

FLEXIBLE SYSTEM CONCEPT

GCell PressFit technology is available both as an integrable servo press module and as a complete press cell.

Depending on the requirements, systems can be individually designed for component sizes, quantities, and degrees of automation. The integration of robotics solutions is also possible without any problems.

A GCell PressFit cell in the basic configuration starts at approx. €150,000. The final price depends on individual requirements regarding the degree of automation, tooling concept, and cycle time.
