Running shoes instead of a laptop: In 2026, GEFASOFT once again took to the starting line at the REWAG Company Run in Regensburg—giving it our all and with even more team spirit.

Around 3,000 runners from companies in the region started on July 15, 2026. Right in the middle: our GEFASOFT team at the Donau-Arena. In ideal conditions along the Danube, we completed the course together. It was not about personal bests, but about the fun of running together—away from projects, appointments, and screens.

For us, the REWAG Company Run has long been more than an athletic competition. It is one of our established company events and symbolises our team cohesion across departmental boundaries. The run also serves a social purpose: €1 was donated for each participant. To mark its 50th company anniversary, REWAG even increased this amount by an additional €0.50. This year, the donations will go to Jumpakids, the obesity centre for children and adolescents run by the Catholic Youth Welfare Services of the Diocese of Regensburg.

Finally, a heartfelt thank-you: to all runners, the organisers, and everyone who cheered us on along the route. Without this support, the day would have been only half as enjoyable.
