Application Engineer Industrial Image Processing / Machine Vision (m/f/d)
We need your support for this
- Development and implementation of image processing applications using Cognex VisionPro, MVTec Halcon, or similar tools
- Execution of feasibility analyses and test series in the in-house technical center
- Design of camera, optics, and lighting components
- Integration of image processing systems into customer-specific systems
- Commissioning and calibration in-house as well as on-site at the customer’s premises (national/international)
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments, e.g., project management, software, mechanics, and electrical engineering
- Technical customer communication and consulting
- Documentation and support during series production
What you bring to the table
- Completed degree or technician qualification in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a related discipline
- Experience in industrial image processing (machine vision), ideally in the field of automation
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (C#/.NET is an advantage)
- Proficiency with tools such as Cognex VisionPro, MVTec Halcon, or OpenCV
- Strong technical understanding, structured way of working, and analytical thinking
- Willingness to travel for occasional commissioning at home and abroad
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
