For our headquarters in Regensburg, we are looking to hire immediately on a full-time basis
Design Engineer in Special Machine Construction (m/f/d)
We need your support for this
- Independent design of assemblies, components, and modules from concept to production-ready detailed design
- New development, design, and construction of our complex special machines, taking into account cost, quality, ease of assembly, and maintenance aspects
- Creation and maintenance of bills of materials, production and assembly drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and risk assessments
- Support during assembly and commissioning of our systems
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration with electrical design, software, production, assembly, and purchasing to ensure efficient project execution
- Point of contact for technical inquiries
What you bring to the table
- A completed degree in mechanical engineering or a completed training as a mechanical engineering technician
- Several years of professional experience in design, ideally in the field of automation systems and special machines
- Good knowledge in the areas of drive technology, sensor technology, pneumatics
- Proficient use of 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks) and MS Office
- Preferably experience in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Automation, and standardization of technical assemblies
- Proficient German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Structured working method and quick comprehension
- Creativity and flexibility
- High level of commitment and strong team skills
