The IRISOR is a fully automatic system for the optical inspection and classification of micromechanical or electronic components. The IRISOR shows its strength especially in smaller quantities with high type variance, when no compromises can be made to the high-precision inspection requirements. For example, in the production of medical technology components or the manufacture of safety-relevant semiconductor sensors. Thanks to its modular system concept, the IRISOR enables both component transport and the actual vision inspection of high volumes in the shortest possible time in the smallest possible installation space. The products are taken out of the racks (cassettes) and inspected directly in the carrier (e.g. leadframes with preferably identical outer dimensions), but with the possibility to process different indexing and heights.
