Parts Production
In its own parts manufacturing GEFASOFT produces numerous mechanical parts as well as IT components itself. The advantages are obvious: due to the independence from suppliers for many components we have full cost and quality control, time savings and the interfaces from procurement to assembly allow an optimal use of resources due to short communication channels.
Our parts production has been located at our site in Nittendorf since 2016. Here, 14 employees produce precise components for our complex special machines in multi-shift operation on an area of 450 m2. The equipment of the parts production includes two 3-axis machines (DMC 635 V and 1035 V), two 5-axis machines (DMU 50 and 60T), a conventional milling machine MH 400P and a conventional lathe.
In addition to the production area, there is also a fully equipped room for machining processes, a welding room and computer workstations for CAD-CAM programming.
In addition to the machining of parts, other core components of the automation system are developed and manufactured in-house. In addition to electronic control modules including firmware, these also include project-specific computers and IT components.
